Did our cosmos exist before the big bang?

Another article that explains how the universe might behave. It may act like an explosion that goes out really far and then contracts back only to explode again and go out. Keep in mind it never collapses all the way to the Planck density.
Now the universe according to LQC agreed brilliantly with general relativity when expansion was well advanced, while still eliminating the singularity at the big bang.
