This is a guest post by my lovely wife. Her blog is the vault is unlocked.
1. Bunny Rabbit – Saddle Up
Why I like this song: What better way to start the list? I love the sexy vocal. Saddle up, it’s almost FRIDAY.
2. Gotan Project – Diferente
Why I like this song: This speaks for itself.
3. Audio Bullys – All Sing Along
Why I like this song: They bring every good thing of the Butthole Surfers, but with an accent to die for.
4. Black Eyed Peas – Boom Boom Pow
Why I like this song: I dare you to sit still. Seriously. This album drops in June.
5. The Roots feat. Cody Chesnutt – The Seed (2.0)
Why I like this song: Like Lenny Kravitz, but not as pretentious or annoying. Where the hell is Cody Chesnutt? “If i had a baby girl tonight, i would name her Rock and Roll”
6. The Roots – Don’t Say Nuthin
Why I like this song: I love the mumbling and the conveyance of the feeling that everybody talks too much without saying anything. Besides the catchy beat.
7. The Roots – Break U Off
Why I like this song: This song makes me want to throw Peter on the bed and pretend that I’m cheating on him with his clone. Sick and twisted? Not really. Just hot. And I love the flute-sounding thing.
8. Ludacris – One More Drink
Why I like this song: This song cracks me up.
9. Pitbull – Crazy
Why I like this song: The lyrics are awesome – LATINAS THEY GET CRAZY
