    Its weird that the technology he described is actually pretty old. There is way cooler stuff now. It just takes a long time form the technology being used in the academic/research side to be accepted and used on the clinical side.

    On the same subject. There is a lot of theory that retro viruses are a main driver in human evolution. Retro viruses (like HIV) enter as little capsules of RNA. They are reverse transcribed after they enter the cells then they insert themselves into your genome. Evidently a large portion of our genome is made up of old non-working or non-threatening retro viruses.
